Academic Year 2015-16 Annual Assessments

The following outlines the assessment efforts of the Barber Library Instructional Team for the 2015-16 Academic Year measuring the impact of Foundational Goals and Objectives, Intermediate Goals and Objectives, Advanced Goals and Objectives, and IL Program Support and Sustainability efforts.

Kirsten creates report detailing library staff participation in Bobcat Orientations for that academic year to be shared in library staff meeting

Kirsten creates report based on One-Off IL Session Tracking detailing library participation in one-off sessions for that academic year to be shared with SPAM

Tina met with Full-Time Faculty in Fall 2015 and Kirsten met with the same cohort in Winter 2016. The library was not involved in Part-Time Faculty orientations for the 2015-16 academic year.

Cat creates report detailing librarian visits to faculty departments to be shared with SPAM

 

Cat reports that she did not formally attend department meetings as information emailing with individual faculty members was a more successful method. 

 

IGO.2.4

Kirsten creates report detailing librarian involvement in Teaching Commons for that academic year to be shared with SPAM

 

Kirsten remained as library contact for Teaching Commons, monitored faculty achievements for website and contributed to social media. Tamara updated the homepage and events page.

 

IGO.3.1

Kirsten creates report detailing involvement in IT trainings 

 

Kirsten met with all IT student workers for staff meetings in Winter and Spring terms. Kirsten individually trained 7 LIT Assistants.

 

AGO.2.1

Create report detailing LIB credit class enrollment for that academic year to be shared with SPAM in order to identify trends and strategize on offerings for the upcoming academic year
